Our Save The Date

I am so so excited to share this with all of you, lovelies! We had put these out last year since we haven’t really ordered our invites yet.

This is really simple and great for any event!
So these are all you need:
– cardboard boxes (any size you wish)
– hay
– cardboard paper
– white head floral cake stamens
– construction paper for the rose origami (any color of your choice)
– dried wheat
– white paint (for “dubbing” the wheat white)
– glue gun & glue sticks

Basically, it’s just assembling everything. The most difficult part, I think, are the roses…good thing I had help! *Thanks again guys!*

You can check the instructions for the rose from here.

There you go! All pretty & nice!

Anthropologie Save-The-Date

Some people don’t realize that your wedding invitation is as important as any major detail with regards to your big day. It’s not only one way to show your guests your personality as a couple and as individuals but it also makes your guests understand what they can expect when they arrive at your wedding.

But…with all the preparations you have to consider, your wedding invitations might be pushed down the priority list. Hence, the Save-The-Dates. With STDs (sounds weird right?), you can go as creative as you want , whether it’s a video or a simple image or a pretty little package like the one I’m about to show you today.

These adorable package is from Chocolate Creative Design! It’s whimsical, earth-friendly, and not to mention – pure genius!

Saw this from Sparkle & Hay, a new addition to my favorite blogs! So make sure to check it our here as well.

With Mason jars & Save The Dates

Why is it that mason jars are hard to find, if not even obsolete, here in Manila? Too bad I really want to get a few for my room and they’d even look better during events. Mason jars have been a growing trend this season, whether its the real deal or just a sew up project like this one.

Check this mason jar inspired save-the-date from Postcard & Pretties! Easy to do & so adorable!

Here’s what you’ll need:

muslin fabric
mason jar template
pencil
black embroidery floss
needle
scissors
white felt
twine & thread
washi tape
printed save-the-date sheets
tacky glue
hot glue
ribbon

I just took a few pictures from the instructions so you’ll know what to expect but you check the full instructions here. Can’t wait to try it this weekend!

Hmmm…maybe I’ll add a bit of beading or sequin in the “jar”, just to give it more dazzle, what do you think?
