Bring Sexy Back

The one thing I was sure about my wedding gown was the back – I wanted it to be something sexy since everyone’s going to be staring at it for almost an hour, might as well make a statement, right? But don’t get me wrong, we weren’t really able to cut it very low because it won’t be able to support the front part. Too bad!

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is, the back of your wedding gown is something that you can really be creative about. When you walk down the aisle, people look at your face and your gown and then when you walk past them…that’s the time you surprise them! You know, keep the WOW factor 360 degrees! Let me show you some gorgeous finds I’ve found.

I’ll totally gush over anything Claire Pettibone!

Or how about something aesthetically lovely?

{Anna Campbell from Polkadot Bride}

Too bad I can’t find the source of this one. I love the detail and it’s just so elegantly done! If you do know who made this gown, please let me know. 🙂

Finally, something cute. Perhaps a heart shaped back? So cute!

So how are you bringing sexy back to your wedding? *wink*

Pinning the Tone

Hi lovelies! How’s your week so far? I hope everything’s great! Mine’s a bit hectic now with all the preps but I’m totally loving it! And, of course I’d like to share all these excitement with you, so I’m thinking how great it would be to share with you my own experiences along the way. Agree?

Alright! Let’s get started! First thing’s first, decide on your motif/color board/theme (whichever you’d like to call it).

To those who know me well, having something to do with pink in our wedding is kind of a no-brainer but with dozens of tones and hues, it’s hard to trim down your choices to just 2-3 (And being a fickle-minded girl doesn’t help either). Good thing we were able to finalize ours quite easily! Yipee!

I haven’t had the time to create a mood board though so here’s a photo to sum up the mood.

What do you think? Pretty! It’s blush, grey, peach & nude. Subtle but when elegantly executed is just Perfect! 🙂

Speaking of photos,  if you’re the kind of person who saves every single photo that has something or might have something to do with your wedding, then you know the problem of either not remembering where you saved them or not being able to carry them around during suppliers meetings or the likes. Now, do I have a treat for you!

Everybody meet Pinterest!

This is an all-in-one multipurpose tool for me! And the reason is because you can keep everything you like for your wedding and categorize it to every single wedding categorization (i.e. attire, reception decor, ceremony, etc) you can think of. Soon enough, you’ll realize that you lean towards a certain taste and by then it’ll be easier to decide on all your decors, etc. I’ve also used this as a repository for my clients!

No more talk! Start pinning! Oh and here’s our wedding board just in case you’d like to check it out!

Note: You need an invitation to be able to have an account in Pinterest. Just post a message on their facebook page then wait for the invitation from their team.

Happy pinning everyone!
