Thank you so much Dennis & Jess for making this video and for being our photographer as well! (Thanks to Jas too!)

Whether it was in Paris, France or Subic, Zambales…they were there!

I love that they used my bridal march song as well! It makes it even more special knowing that I can listen to it again and again ♥

Engagement Shoot: Kamille & Jong

December is no doubt a crazy month! I’m sorry if there has been slow posts lately..so I decided to bring you a fun engagement shoot to start the month!

Let me introduce you to Kamille & Jong! They are now staying in Perth, Australia but they’ve been in different countries for awhile and obviously distance doesn’t matter to this two. Music, food & travel are not the only things that keep them together…laughter too! (You’ll see!)

The couple decided to take the shoot at Jolibee, Kymmie’s favorite fastfood chain while she was still in the Philippines. Just look at them! Like two kids in a playground!

Jong’s birthday turned out to be a very different celebration the last time they were in Thailand:

That day was scheduled to be our island hopping around Phuket: Phi Phi island, monkey island etc. Among those islands he apparently had the ring in the backpack. I didn’t realise that was the reason why he wouldn’t let me bring the backpack!! Haha! He was thinking of ways of how to propose but he knew I didn’t want it to be publicised. He initially thought he’d have a banner attached to the boat and because of how windy it was it would’ve been awesome but since we were in a different country, accessing that banner was some what, difficult to do. Scratch that idea!

He had another one, he was picking up different shells by the beach and what he wanted was for me to see that he’s picking up the shell but eventually he’d pick up the ring! He thought it was an awesome idea until the waves got bigger. He got a bit scared that he’d loose it so another idea scratched. The weather wasn’t helping, it rained harder and we got bigger waves so our skipper decided to go back and call it a day.

We eventually did and while we were resting inside our hotel room. It was nearly the end of his birthday, and suddenly he placed a ring on my finger and said that even if he wasn’t kneeling, even if he doesn’t have flowers what he’s asking me is from the heart and he’d make me happy for the rest of our lives. Now who wouldn’t be all mushy inside out after that???? It was the perfect ring for me, nothing to fancy, it was just awesome.”

A little serious? Nah! Even the photographers were laughing their hearts out during the entire shoot!

I just love people in love! Keep the fun & flame going Kamille & Jong! Best wishes!

Davao Destination Engagement Shoot: Elaine & Chicco

Okay, so I know summer is over but who wants it to be over if you have this sunny engagement shoot. The couple, Elaine & Chicco, chose ‘Travel & Lifestyle’ as their theme because it fits their adventurous personality & their love for travel. B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!

Chicco’s mom & sister were kind enough to be stylist for this gorgeous destination shoot in their own hometown.

So how was the proposal? It was not a typical 21st monthsary in Tagaytay. The idea was just supposed to be another getaway but not to Chicco, atleast. “…Chicco handed over a huge black album, with one of our photobooth shots displayed on the front cover, and greeted “Happy Monthsary, Hon!”. As I opened it, I saw a collection of photos of our travels together, from our very first trip to Boracay, to Davao, Cebu, HK, Macau, Palawan, Batangas, Bangkok,  Ilocos ..up to our Baguio trip with my family just the weekend before. After the last entry, I flipped through the next page, and saw that there were no more photos but a short paragraph that read:

[2010-05-09] TAGAYTAY
“Our 21st monthsary… Ate lunch at Bag of Beans… Salmon steak and their famous blueberry cheesecake… Busog… We then headed to Sonya’s Garden and got ourselves a massage…Much deserved pampering after so many stressful weeks at work… After that, we went to Tagaytay Highlands to watch the beautiful sunset… You received a gift from me: a photo album of our travels together… You were surprised and really touched by it and was embarrassed that you didn’t have any gift for me… we looked at it together, laughing and reminiscing those moments…
As you read on this page, you are wondering how I made this entry… Was this all planned out?… Then you realized that this is no ordinary monthsary celebration… Today is much more special… Today, I ask you…”

My heart started to pound faster, as I turned to the next page. There, at the middle, was a photograph of a beautiful diamond ring.” And the rest, as they say is what leads to a destination wedding. ♥

Cheers to Elaine & Chicco!

I need a break! Time to check out my fave blogs for new inspirations.

How cute are those XOXO balloons? They were originally floating around the Louie Vuitton window front and now they’re part of these adorable shoot.

A Shenzhen Engagement Shoot

Ladies, make sure you have your hankies with you before you attempt to look at these photos. I’m pretty sure you’d shed a tear or two for this entry (sniff sniff). This is no doubt a girl’s dream come true!

Gown after gown after gown, gorgeous hair & make-up and photos worthy of a full fashion magazine spread. Sherine & Stephen’s  engagement shoot was all taken in Shenzhen, China last May.  2 wonderful photographers: 阿杰老師 and 阿海老師 made all this possible in 2 days.

Loooooove every single one of them! Shoots like this gets better when you have a couple who are ever so willing to be models even just for one day.

Want more? Yes, there’s more! Stay tuned for part II of this engagement shoot on Friday. See you soon, lovelies!
